Cross Margin

In derivative market, margin is the capital needed to open a position. "Initial Margin" and "Maintenance Margin" are the minimum amount required to open and maintain the position respectively. Cross Margin, also known as "Spread Margin", is the mechanism employed by BEX500.

Under “Cross Margin”, all balances in open positions can be used to avoid the liquidation. When needed, excess margin or profits can be used to satisfy margin maintenance requirements.

Forced Liquidation

When the account value is lower than the required maintenance margin, forced liquidation could happen.

Double contracts are not included in Forced liquidation rules.

1.When the maintenance margin is lower than 0.5%*Initial Position Value, to avoid larger loss form the positions, your positions will be liquidated.

2.The account value of a Double Contract is excluded from the Initial Position Value.

3. Maintenance Margin=Account Value - Margin in Double Contract.

Auto Deleveraging System

In derivative markets, margin is the capital needed to open a position. "Initial Margin" and "Maintenance Margin" are the minimum amount required to open and maintain a position respectively. Cross Margin, also known as "Spread Margin", is the mechanism employed by BEX500. All balances in open positions can be used to avoid liquidations. Auto Deleveraging (ADL) system introduction

In the event of liquidation, positions are controlled by Bex500's liquidation system. When the positions cannot be liquidated in the market, ADL system will automatically deleverage an opposing position from a trader that is selected. The auto deleveraging ranking is calculated based on profits and used leverage.

The ADL force liquidates based on the price of the liquidated order.

ADL Ranking System

Your priority in the ADL system is indicated by the lights below. Each light represents the a 20% increment of priority.

When all 5 lights are lit, it means your position is in the top percentile of ADL queue, if the position cannot be liquidated in the market, forced deleveraging could occur.

In case of Auto Deleveraging, the unsettled order will be canceled, and you may re-open the order again.

ADL Ranking Calculation

The auto deleveraging system ranking is based on profit ratio and used leverage. Positions with higher profits and leverages can be deleveraged.

ADL Ranking Calculation:

ADL Ranking= P&L percentage x Initial Leverage (If profit)

= P&L percentage / Initial Leverage (If loss)

Among:

Initial Leverage = Open position value / net open position

P&L percentage = (Current net worth- Open position value) / Open position value

The ADL system will rank by long and short market positions respectively.
